Hey folks. I've been giving FK some thought, and as I've reviewed what's been going on, I realize that I feel that the scenario and RP ball is in my thinking in the Player's court.

If anyone is interested in playing, please read the log, as it is current and reflected of the status of the game. I'd be interested in hearing the following:

1) Wanna play?
2) Given the latest developments and current thoughts, what are people going to be doing to get things moving in the direction that they want them to move in?
3) Anyone doing anything additional that might not be on my radar at all?
4) Are there ICDs that folks think need to happen?
5) Is there anybody out there?

"read the log"....could you link me the relevant threads?

1) Always.
2) I will get back to you on this answer after I have re-acquainted myself with the campaign.
3) Saul has an interesting background. He has been magically transported to this world via a cursed ring that likes to pop him across the multiverse....I am thinking there may be some room for creativity there.
4) ICD? Saul "pops out" of current game-time and runs through an entire adventure in ICD, then "pops back" to the game table just in time for the next session. He will note that it will be the first time he has popped back to a previous location and time (Forest Keep). He (and the DM) may consider this of some importance.
5) Saul is definitely out there...way out there. "I am Ditarian, mind tricks don't work on me!"

Belwar's plan is to do whatever he can to get back to that place where he has to cross that fucking log bridge, and talk with the ant people again, and suggest they go to the revine...

Let me read the log again, and Belwar will be looking to see if there's anything that can be made by anyone in the keep that can be used as a universal translator, and would be on his way to bug town.

I would love (in fact preffer) to do that whole deal in ICD. role playing is much easier in ICD, I say.

1. Defiantely

2. Zurn is –very- interested in maybe having a chance to study anything in the ancient city (maybe bring back a book or two). Particularly anything to do with the honoring of Moradin. So, convincing the Mants to get out of Dodge and into the ravine is of interest to him. Even the chance to study their culture and maybe write a few things about them would be fascinating for him. So, he would like to go back to the Mants and tell them of a bigger place that we, the party, know of. Hell, we could escort them there!

3. Zurn is well on his way to becoming a Master of Radiance (see Libris Mortis prestige classes) and subtle things will be happening  to be a reflection of his affinity to that.

4. Zurn might seek out Lady Corynn to ask her if she knows anything about the changes (again, Master of Radiance) that are occurring with him.

Here's a crazy thought: we have made a section under the FK Forum called "Game Log"...go read the latest entry!

You might want to recall that you initiated a request with Lady Corryn to cast a "remove curse" spell upon that ring, and it worked. No more ring (unless you want to put it back on)

Saul ain't hte only one who's "out there" :-0

Belwar's next level, by the way will most likely be in Paladin.

Johan, you asked us to post our thoughts...you didn't mandate that they had to be intelligent ones.

Griznuq

Jesus that happened almost a year ago. wtf.

Johan

hehe...I had many of the same thoughts. Although, in fairness, I haven't pushed that hard, since interest seemed to have fully waned.

Yeah, sorry about that... Guess I was just burnt.

No worries. We've all had a lot going on. Last year, the 'borough was pretty well out of commission, what with all the construction, then there were new jobs and school...and we've all been a little burnt.

Good to see you gaining interest again though. I've heared similar tremors from other quarters too.
